ReStore volunteers assist in all aspects of store operations.
Charleston Habitat for Humanity ReStore resells donated, new and gently used household items and furniture to the public, at a fraction of retail prices. All proceeds from ReStore sales support affordable housing right here in our community. There are a number of ways you can get involved!

All volunteers must first attend a ReStore Orientation before they can volunteer, which will be conducted at the beginning of your first registered volunteer shift.
Volunteers must also complete an online Volunteer Application and Volunteer Waiver of Liability prior to volunteering (click on the individual links to access these forms). **Please note that if you are under 18, you must have a parent/guardian sign your volunteer waiver. You will still need to complete it online, but print out an extra copy, have your parent/guardian sign and bring with you to the ReStore when you volunteer.

Young Volunteers: Youth ages 14 and 15 may volunteer in the ReStore when accompanied by an adult. At this age, young volunteers may help with sorting and stocking books, linens and household items; sweeping and general cleaning; bagging and wrapping at checkout.
At ages 16 and up, volunteers may help with data entry, move furniture, receive donations, and stock, sort and price merchandise.
**Please note that if you are under 18, you must have a parent/guardian sign your volunteer waiver. You will still need to complete it online, but print out an extra copy, have your parent/guardian sign and bring with you to the ReStore when you volunteer.
*If you are completing court ordered community service, you must first email Rachael@charlestonhabitat.org with how many hours you need and a photo of you ID before your volunteer hours can be scheduled.
